Instructor since January 2002

This three-credit course covers atomic structure, decay processes, production of radionuclides, interaction of radiation with matter and dosimetry.  It is designed to prepare the Nuclear Medicine Technology students for Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation and a Clinical Internship with emphasis on certification/registration examination preparation.  The course is offered in one section during the Spring semester.
